Marmoresin Fascia and End Panel KIT
Covering to protect the fronts of terraces and balconies in case of inefficiency or absence of a drip moulding at the end of the tiles.
We are committed to finding a solution which can be considered as definitive, able to preserve the appearance and structure of railing balconies subject to degradation on the fascias.
The cause lies in the inefficiency, or absence, of the drip moulding placed at the end of the tiles under the marble top, so the water, without any interruption, is free to reach the fascias of the balconies.
In just a few years, due to smog, you will see rivulets of dirt as evidence of the path of the water which, inevitably, will turn into infiltration and, after penetrating into the concrete, will end up attacking the inside iron reinforcements, causing potentially dangerous breakages, certainly ugly to look at, on which remedial action will have to be taken.
FITTING
The old marble door threshold & windowsill will be replaced by our door threshold & windowsill, after being cut to the same depth. The L shape with a 45° angle ensures the function of a drip moulding (4 cm long) and prevents water from reaching the front of the balcony.
During the restoration phase, it will be covered by our fascia panels with mechanical fixing which, in compliance with anti-seismic regulations, envisage the use of 1 fischer at 15mm from the upper edge and covering glue on the rest of the internal surface.
The fixing hole will therefore be hidden by the drip moulding itself, thereby also ensuring an excellent aesthetic result.
Profile for terraces and balconies with 10 cm drip moulding for finishing and protecting the front edges, with drip moulding system which prevents the water from returning to the front edge.
The 1 cm thickness allows the profile to surmount the old marble terminal section and connect with the tiles, making installation easier and overcoming any problem related to the installation of terrace and balcony floors.
